Matthew’s Happy to be nominated (actually, it already is) …
Happy, Matthew’s 2003 debut release, was recently nominated for five Dove honors for the 36th Annual GMA Music Awards, making him the most-nominated new artist this year.

Matthew celebrates nominations for: Song of the Year (for his 9-week, No. 1 debut single "More"*), New Artist of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for "More" and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for "Happy." Additionally, the CD received a Dove nod for Recorded Music Packaging of the Year.

*Last year, West made history becoming the first new artist in this format to hold down the No. 1 position for more than seven consecutive weeks with a debut radio single since R&R began doing Christian charts in April 2001.
